Foam System
Fire-Fighting foam is a mixture of water and foam material, which usually needs to be well aerated after mixing water and foam liquid so that the foam mixture can expand.
Sakhtar Energy Zharf Company operates as the exclusive representative of Sabo Spain in the field of foam equipment.

Foam System
Foam-based fire extinguishing systems are usually used for Class B materials. In Iran, this system is designed according to the NFPA standard. Fire-fighting foam is a mixture of water and foam material, which usually needs to be well aerated after mixing water and foam liquid so that the foam mixture expands. The ratio of water and foam is as follows:
1% foam liquid + 99% water: for extinguishing class A fires
3% foam liquid + 97% water: for extinguishing oil fires
6% foam liquid + 94% water: for solvents and alcoholic substances
Based on the amount of development and expansion of the foam, the following division is made:
Low Expansion Foam
Medium Expansion Foam
High Expansion Foam

Bladder Tank
The Bladder Tank is an essential part of the Bladder Tank Proportioning System.
They require no external power, other than a supply of water to ensure proper operation.
The Vertical and Horizontal Bladder tanks are designed and constructed in accordance with the latest revisions of ASME code Section VIII for unfired pressure vessels.
They have a working pressure of 12 bar and they are tested to 17.2 bar. Used with a ratio controller, this system is designed to inject foam concentrate into a suitable water supply and to automatically proportion foam concentrates over a wide range of flows and pressures.
- Type: Horizontal or Vertical
- Max. working pressure: 12 bar
- Body material: carbon steel ASTM A 516 gr.70
- Available Size: Project Requirement

Foam Dosing

Foam system
Foam Dosing
Foam Dosing are particularly suited for use in systems with low start flows, for example sprinkler systems. They require no external power.
Piston pumps are also very suited for low and medium viscosity concentrates. The unit shall be placed in such a manner that the concentrate has a free flow down from the foam tank to the dosing pump.
A typical fixed installation with a Piston pump model is often where a customer prefers the characteristics of Piston pumps, use low to middle viscosity concentrates and work on a wide flow range. The unit shall be placed in such a manner that the media concentrate has a free flow down from the tank to the dosing pump.

Foam Chamber
Foam Chamber is designed to discharge expanded foam directly onto the surface of a flammable or combustible liquid for fire extinguishment. Classified as a Type II discharge device in accordance with NFPA Standard 11, foam chamber delivers low expansion foam directly onto the fuel surface. Minimizing submergence and agitation increases the effectiveness of the foam blanket, resulting in more efficient operation, and superior extinguishing capabilities.
Foam Chamber is used in one of the most common applications to protect vertical fixed roof (cone) liquid storage tanks, with or without internal floating roof with the low expansion foam system

Foam Sprinkler
Pendent Foam Nozzles are air-aspirating foam discharge outlet sprinklers designed for use in foam-water deluge systems.
They are designed for flammable liquid risks where it is desired to apply foam from overhead sprinklers and where follow-up with plain water in a standard spray sprinkler pattern is necessary.
- Application: Foam Solution, 3%, 6%
- Connection Size: ½” or ¾” BSPT (NPT)
- Working pressure: 3 ~ 7 bar

Rim Seal Foam Pourer
Rim Seal Foam Pourer is designed to discharge fully aspirated foam directly to the annular seal area of the open top floating roof storage tanks for fire or vapor suppression. Fully aspirated foam
provides the most effective performance.
Foam pourer design provides protection from the wind, allowing the aspirated foam to gently discharge onto the protected area of the floating roof tank.
